About Pongo

Meet Pongo! Pongo is a 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel and Shih Tzu mix looking for a dedicated and loving home. While Pongo can be a little shy and cautious when first meeting new people, he warms up with patience and time. Once he is used to you, he loves to be out and about, wants to be by your side all the time, and will happily soak up all the belly rubs and pets you can give! He is a very loyal companion to those he trusts. With Children: He can do well around children, as long as boundaries are respected, he just prefers his space and should not be disturbed when he is eating or in his crate (food/crate guarding). Medical: Up to date on vaccines. He does have a cherry eye that will need attention, but has no other known medical issues. He is not currently neutered. Ideal Home: Someone patient who will give him a little time to settle in. Once he trusts you, you'll have a constant, affectionate shadow by your side.
