About Luka

I have a beautiful almost 2 year old German shepherd named Luka. DOB 12/25/24. Central Arkansas. I took him in when his owners were about to take him to shelter hoping to keep him from going temporarily. He is UTD on all his shots, I have the paperwork! Still intact(but you'd never know, he's so good!) I was lied to about everything with him so I'll be up front. Pros and Cons: he is Heart worm positive. Found that out at the vet. I can't afford this. He is very fearful. He is extremely sweet but he's been done wrong by previous owners. He is not the type to bite! Even at the vet when they gave him his shots and held him down he just licked them. So someone with patience and love to help him would be best. I have a cat and he could care less. Honestly the cat bullies him lol. Dogs, he was with two before me. But one apparently attacked him. They said he's good with them but in my experience that I have seen he's reactive. But out of fear I'd say. I'm sure with a better environment and such he'd do ok. Probably small dogs. He's crate trained. House broken. I work 12s at hospital and he's perfect. Holds it in. Doesn't tear things up. He's quiet and keeps to himself(for now) I'd say medium energy, he does like to play with some toys but he'd rather be inside. If there's any questions please message me! As long as this is up he's available. If there's anyone who can help with a foster or anything too�'�|that would be helpful. He'll need to start HW treatment at some point and my old cat is prone to it. So I don't have all the time in the world. Also, livestock such horses and cows would probably not be for him.
