About Bobo & Nuggett

Hi! We're Bobo and Nuggett, two little senior guys looking for a new place to call home. Our person passed away, so our whole world has changed quite a bit. We're 14 and 12 years old, and we're hoping there's someone out there with a soft spot for little old men like us. ========== BOBO ========== I'm Bobo! I'm 14 years old, 12 lbs and a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Don't let my age fool you. I'm still a happy little guy who enjoys walks and adventures. I'm losing some of my hearing, and I only have two lower canine teeth left, so I have a pretty adorable snaggle-tooth smile. I also have a recurring skin condition that isn't contagious and may be autoimmune related. Sometimes it needs a little treatment. I can be selective with men, too. I just like to decide for myself who my friends are, so give me a little time and let me build a relationship with you at my own pace. ========== NUGGETT ========== Now it's my turn! I'm Nuggett. I'm 12 years old, 7 lbs and a Chihuahua. I'm definitely a lap dog, but that doesn't mean I spend my whole day sleeping. I like to know what's going on around me, and I'm more of a homebody than my adventurous brother. I can also be a little vocal when I have something important to say. I might be cautious when we first meet, but with a little patience and reassurance I warm up pretty quickly. ========== ABOUT US ========== We're both neutered and microchipped, and we recently had full veterinary checkups. We aren't crate trained and we might have an occasional accident inside, but give us a doggie door and we know exactly what to do. We're also good boys in the house and aren't destructive. We could potentially share our home with another small dog as long as everyone gets slow, careful introductions. We're good with children, but we're little senior guys, so older kids or gentle, dog-savvy children would be best for us. We're not sure what we think about cats because we don't have any history with them. ========== WHAT COMES WITH US ========== Our food, beds, toys, leashes, collars, bowls and other belongings will come along with us, and our medical records are available. ========== LOCATION ========== Right now we're in Belvidere, New Jersey. We've had a pretty big change in our lives, but we still have plenty of love left to give.
