About Belle

Belle's owner passed away and she needs a home! She is a joyful, happy dog who is super-smart. (She knows sit, stay, paw, down, and turn around, and can join her tricks together into a routine!) She loves her people and will run in happy circles when her people come home. She loves to chase squirrels in a fenced yard. Belle loves to play with her people, especially if she gets to run around, or if treats are involved! She loves to play whenever the opportunity arises, but also rests quietly on a couch or in a crate. Belle is great with children age 10 and up - visiting kids were practically riding her, and she loved playing with them. No cats, please - she is hard-wired to chase them. She would do best being the only pet in the home because she has sometimes shown dominance toward other dogs. Belle is fully house-trained and crate trained. She pulls on a leash if she sees a squirrel or chipmunk, and does better getting her exercise in a fenced area. Belle is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She has no special dietary needs and eats 1 cup of kibble twice a day.
