ZMooseZ Looking to rehome We adopted him from animal control. We haven't had experience with deaf dogs. I was really up for the challenge. Unfortunately, I am changing jobs and won't be home as much as Moose needs me to be. He needs more time and attention than I can give. He just wants to be with his people or dog friends. Moose is an approximately 6-years old, per animal control, however our vet says he's 2/3 yrs old. An 70 pound american terrier who is deaf. He understands some hand signals, is a fast learner. He lays down in Moose style, walks gracefully, great on a lease, is house trained, doesn't get on furniture, and is not a fan of a closed crate. He is sweet, affectionate, and absolutely %9D%A4%8Fpeople. Moose doesn't ask for much-just a person of his own, a comfortable place to relax and be near his people. Moose has done well with other %90 dogs, unsure about cats. He tends act like an annoying younger brother. He has a moderate amount of energy. Will do well in a home with older children, he is a 'Moose'. He is neutered fully vaccinated and currently located in New Britain, Ct. Transport may be available.
