About Roy

Meet Roy - the best puppy ever! This little guy is absolutely amazing. Roy is always happy, cheerful, affectionate, and ready to make friends. He LOVES everyone: people, dogs, cats, and he loves playing with a tennis ball. He's also incredibly cuddly and affectionate and is the perfect little lapdog. He walks nicely even with people he has never met before. He is great in the car and comfortable in busy environments too. Roy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages and would love to have a playful dog friend in his new home. He is also good with cats! Roy is very smart. He knows his name, listens very well, and is nearly house-trained. He knows how to use pee pads indoors but prefers to go potty outside. He is not a barker and can stay home alone without any issues. Roy would be an amazing addition to a family with children, even toddlers, and could also be a great dog for a first-time dog owner. And then there's his look! Take a Dachshund-like body, add a little curled-up tail and a Shepherd-looking face, and somehow you get Roy - a tiny, funny, adorable pup who is only a little bigger than a cat. Whoever adopts Roy is going to be very lucky. It's honestly hard not to fall in love with him. His foster family absolutely adores him and would keep him in a heartbeat if they didn't already have three dogs!
