Meet Ted. (Not short for Teddy or Theodore - just TED). Basset Hound, vintage variety. Single, not big on mingling. Rural boy with a deep-seated hatred for city slickers and anyone who doesn't love George Jones. Drives a '74 Chevy K10 with expired plates. His driver license says he's 6'5' and you best not question it. Doesn't believe in 'new fangled' technology like cell phones, wifi or cable tv. His favorite movie is anything with Clint Eastwood. Owns two 'nice' shirts, both purchased during the Ford administration. Has a land line that he uses regularly to (1) order items from the Lehman's catalog and (2) call the mayor's office to complain about speeders on his road. Enjoys spending time on the front porch, yelling at the neighborhood kids to get the hell off his lawn, which he mows every Sunday after church. Occasionally frequents the VFW for pancake breakfasts and skeet shoots (but only when he's feeling social.) Grills a mean ribeye and always serves it with a fully loaded baked potato. Ted believes everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you'd like to hear why yours is wrong, reach out to schedule a meet and greet! (Ted is in foster in west Longmont). In all seriousness, he's crated trained, house trained (but marks sometimes without belly band on), barks when excited, tries to play but isn't really good at it - entertains himself. Ted likes to be touching his people-loves couch time. Ted is in foster in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ted You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
