About Target

TARGET WAS FOUND WALKING AROUND WITH A PEANUT BUTTER JAR IN HIS MOUTH! Well, that's one way to make an entrance. When an Animal Control Officer spotted Target on N. Northwood Dr. in Inglis, this handsome white dog was casually carrying a peanut butter jar in his mouth. Apparently Target had packed his own snack for the journey. But what happened next told us even more about him. The officer reported that Target had loose, relaxed body language, wasn't bothered by the stray cats he passed, and walked right up to the officer. He was easily leashed, hopped into the Animal Control truck without a fuss and remained very friendly throughout the encounter. Since arriving at the shelter, we're seeing more of that nice personality. Target is easy to leash and walk, knows sit, loves treats and takes them gently. He was non-reactive to a nearby dog, and when he wants affection, he'll lay his head right in your lap. From wandering with his peanut butter jar to resting his head on someone's lap, Target is becoming pretty hard not to love. Target Male �'ۢ 6 months-2 years �'ۢ 56 lbs.
