About Louie

Meet Louie. �%9D%A4��%8F Louie is an 11-year-young Lhasa Apso mix weighing 17 pounds, although he could stand to lose a few pounds. He's an older guy, but he still enjoys a good walkabout and likes to see what's going on around him. Louie is good with other dogs, and we don't anticipate cats being an issue. He would be fine with respectful children who understand that an older dog deserves a little consideration. He can hear just fine�'�| although sometimes he likes to pretend he doesn't. ���� Louie would do best with a secure fence or someone committed to leash walking. He crates for a treat, but we don't think he really needs one. He had a few initial accidents when he first arrived, but with a routine, he is doing just fine. He does require regular grooming and brushing, because this handsome little guy needs to keep up his appearance. Louie has no health issues. He is simply an older guy who has found himself looking for a new home after his owner passed away. And honestly, what Louie wants isn't complicated. He wants a soft place to land, a comfortable bed, some walks, a little attention, and someone who will love him for however long he has left.
