About Buckeye

When Buckeye first arrived, he was severely underweight, flea-infested, and so hungry that he believed almost everything was food. He was frightened and unsure of the world around him. Today, Buckeye is a much happier dog who has learned that people can be kind. He loves treats, enjoys playtime, and has discovered that giving kisses is pretty fun too. He is very food-motivated and eager to engage with people. Because he can be mouthy during play, he would likely do best in a home without young children. We are unsure how he would do with other dogs or cats. Buckeye has a little trouble jumping (a little joint issues) but that doesn't seem to slow him down!
