Kayla can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she warms up beautifully. Before long, you'll discover just how affectionate this precious girl is. She loves to snuggle with her person-or her people-and would be happiest with a family who will give her plenty of love, attention, and time. Kayla is a smart girl who is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to train. She is learning her basic manners, including sit and stay, and is working on her leash-walking skills. She is also mostly housebroken and continuing to make great progress. Like most puppies, Kayla has a few things she isn't especially fond of. She doesn't care much for baths or nail trims, but she tolerates both when necessary. Adoption Requirements An adoption application must be completed before you can be considered to adopt Kayla. Because Kayla is still a young puppy, her adopter will be responsible for having her spayed by the time she reaches one year of age. The adopter must sign a Spay Agreement acknowledging this requirement and must provide the rescue with proof that Kayla has been spayed once the procedure is completed. Proof must be emailed to the rescue for our records.
