About Spunky *loves cats

SPUNKY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! This cartoon-like character, Spunky, was saved from euthanasia in a NC kill shelter and sent to a foster home. Now, his foster mom is moving soon and he finds himself once again in urgent need. Spunky is 2 y/o, apx 60 lbs., neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. He absolutely LOVES people and also LOVES CATS! Although Spunky is appropriately social and friendly with dogs outside the home, he definitely prefers not to share his human or his bones with other dogs inside the home so he would do best as the solo dog. But as far as people and cats, the more the merrier! His foster mom says, 'I took Spunky in as a foster when he was on the euthanasia list and watching him get his second chance has been so rewarding. Now he just needs the final piece: a family of his own. He has come way too far to not get his happy ending.
