About ARLEN

Arlen has been part of our rescue for close to three years. He was rescued with three of his friends and a puppy, and ever since, he has waited - hopeful, happy, and ready for the day we finally find his people. The people who will see past the fact that he is a black dog. The people who will notice the longing in his eyes, his resilient heart, and everything he still has to give. Arlen is about 5 years old, a black Lab mix who is playful, energetic, affectionate, and very much full of life. He loves water, long walks, adventures, and simply being part of whatever his person is doing. Three years is a long time to wait to be chosen. And yet Arlen has never stopped being joyful. He has never stopped being ready. He deserves someone who truly sees him - not as another black dog waiting in rescue, but as the companion they may have been searching for all along. Maybe that person is you.
