If you are looking for a small but mighty leader with a purr like a revving engine, look no further than Della! Della's story began on a property where she and her three littermates were discovered as strays, living outside with their nursing mama at about 4 weeks old. The whole family was rescued together, and Della has been thriving as an indoor kitten ever since. Petite and small in size but undeniably in charge, Della carries herself like the leader of the litter. Get anywhere near her and her motor starts - she has the loudest purr of the bunch, rumbling to life the moment you reach out to pet her. She's not the least bit timid, and while she's perfectly happy doing her own thing, she's just as quick to climb into your lap and soak up the attention. What Della is looking for: A Family to Love On: Della is spunky and confident, but she's every bit a snuggler - she's just as happy climbing into your lap for love as she is leading the charge into a new adventure. A Playmate to Match Her Energy: Every kitten loves a playmate, and Della would do well paired with any of her littermates - or even her mama, Dreamer (also soon to be up for adoption and looking for her forever home!) - for some built-in playtime to tire her out before she plops down for a sunbathing nap. A Kid-Friendly Household: Well-socialized and kid-tested, including regular handling by a toddler and adored by a seven-year-old - she'd make a spirited companion for a family. Comfortable Around Dogs: Della has seen our family's small dog through the safety of a gate and hasn't skipped a beat, though the two haven't formally met yet.
