This beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd is looking for a caring, understanding home where she can truly shine. Tessa was found as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Now she's ready to leave that chapter behind and find a forever home of her own. Tessa absolutely loves being with people, although she can be a little shy at first. Her biggest challenge is learning to feel confident when faced with new places, people, and experiences. She just needs someone who is willing to give her the time and patience to build that confidence at her own pace. The good news? We're already seeing a huge difference! In the short time Tessa has been in a foster home, she has really started coming out of her shell. She's learning that new experiences don't have to be scary, and she's showing us just how much potential she has. Tessa was also recently found to be heartworm positive and is currently completing the first step of her treatment. Her adopter will not be left to handle this alone-Tessa will go home with a full year's supply of the medication needed to complete her heartworm treatment, as well as a year's supply of flea and tick prevention. �%9D%A4��%8F With the right person by her side-someone patient, understanding, and willing to help her gain confidence-we truly believe Tessa is going to blossom into an amazing companion.
