About Winnie

Winnie has been with us since she was a puppy (2021) and has been the best dog. She is insanely loyal, loves to snuggle and is very obedient. We recently brought home our first baby and she has not done well with him - she has shown aggression that we are uncomfortable with and are making the extremely hard decision to rehome her for the safety of our son. She is an amazing dog - she has slowed down greatly in the last year and her temperament is calm. She did have an injury to her leg in October 2025 that has healed well on its own, but it does cause her some stiffness occasionally. We also have a brace for her to use - though she doesn't prefer it. She is such a special dog to us and this isn't an easy decision to come to so we will be picky to who her next family will be. She has done well with our other dog Maple, but doesn't always seem to enjoy other dogs. I don't know how her temperament would be in a new setting with other dogs.
