About Marnie26

Meet Marnie! Born around June 25, 2026, Marnie is a black and white kitten with a survivor's spirit. She and her brother Marlowe were found taped up in a cardboard box - thankfully with air holes - with badly infected eyes. After weeks of eye drops and antibiotics from her foster family, Marnie's eyesight was saved, and her whole world opened back up. It took Marnie a little while to learn to trust people after such a rough start, but these days she feels completely loved and safe - and she shows it by acting exactly like the kitten she is. She's all go: running, playing, wrestling with her brother, chasing feathers, and testing every limit she can find. Her favorite spot in the house is the very top shelf of any cat tree, because clearly the best view belongs to her. She'll even sleep next to her foster mom sometimes, when she deigns to slow down. Marnie gets along beautifully with all the other cats in her foster home, and she's a respectful little sister to the older cats, always knowing when to give them their space. She's also been paying close attention to their finer habits - namely, standing guard in front of the refrigerator door, because apparently that's just what spoiled, well-loved cats do. Marnie is learning fast, and she's got the 'spoiled rotten' lifestyle down already. After everything she's overcome, Marnie is ready for a home where she can keep growing, playing, and being cherished for the resilient, silly, wonderful cat she is.
