BROCK Needs a Foster or Adopter by October 10 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Brock is currently in Mississippi and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, October 10, 2026. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Brock Brock is a handsome 5-month-old Lab mix who weighs around 26 pounds, and this sweet boy has already been given a second chance. Brock was at an overcrowded animal shelter and placed on the euthanasia list because he was scared in the shelter environment. Thankfully, our rescue partners stepped in and saved him just in time. Once Brock got out of the shelter and into a safe home, it became clear that the scared puppy they saw at the shelter wasn't who he really is. Brock is a super sweet boy who loves attention and enjoys being around people. He can still be a little shy when someone tries to pick him up, but once he is comfortable, his happy puppy personality comes out. Brock loves to play with other dogs and does great with cats and farm animals. He is also crate trained and has been doing wonderfully outside of the shelter environment. With his friendly personality and love for other animals, we think Brock could be a great fit for a family home or even a home with some farm life. Brock came dangerously close to losing his life simply because he was scared in a shelter. Now he has the chance to leave Mississippi behind and start the life he always deserved. All he needs is someone willing to open their home and help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he is meant to be.
