About Hobbs

Hobbs was owner surrendered to the East Valley shelter on July 8, 2024, with a huge mass on his right front leg. The biopsy showed it was osteosarcoma; an aggressive bone cancer. The shelter considered him a hospice. Since he has a looming expiration date, they wanted to euthanize him. A good Sam pulled him from the shelter to have his leg amputated. But, without a rescue to take him, he went back to the shelter. We rescued him on August 1, 2024. Two years later, he is still going strong. He is such a great cat! Hobbs needs a great foster to take him in.
