*8-month-old male Staffordshire Terrier mix *not neutered yet but he will be *weighs 35 pounds *heartworm negative *brought in as stray *shy but sweet - the noisy shelter environment is very overwhelming for him *welcomes all pets and attention once he feels safe with you *treat motivated *submissive and wants to please once he feels comfortable with you *good leash manners This handsome boy is Angelo. He recently arrived at our shelter as a stray. The shelter environment is currently very overwhelming for him. It's loud in the shelter and everything is new, scary, and unfamiliar for him. Angelo can be a little shy/nervous at first but once he feels safe with you he welcomes all your pets and attention. Angelo needs time to adjust and settle in at the shelter. He will likely be less scared once he begins to feel safe. Angelo was more relaxed and trusting after we spent time together. I believe he felt much less stressed when outside away from all the noisy and barking dogs. The shelter can be a scary place for many dogs and puppies, please don't let that stop you from adopting him. Angelo simply wants to feel safe, secure, and loved. Come meet him!
