About Roscoe & Rocky

Due to a major change in our living situation, my wife and I are having to move, and with a baby on the way, we unfortunately won't have the yard or space that our two boys, Roscoe and Rocky, need and deserve. They are both about 4 years old, Mountain Curs, and brothers who have been together their entire lives. I rescued them in Birmingham as puppies and couldn't help but bring them home because they were starving and helpless and they have stayed by each-others side ever since that day so keeping them together would mean more to me than I can put into words. Roscoe is the tan one. He is an absolute sweetheart and has never met a stranger. He loves people, loves attention, and will go out of his way to meet and greet anyone he can. He is very outgoing, affectionate, and just genuinely loves being around people. Rocky is the brindle one. He is a little more shy and reserved at first, but once he gets comfortable with you, his sweet personality really comes out. He warms up quickly and becomes very loving once he knows he can trust you. They are both Mountain Curs, so they are active hunting/working dogs and would do best with someone who can give them plenty of exercise, attention, and room to move around. A home with a fenced yard or property would be ideal. They are both not neutered, and I want to be completely upfront about that. My main priority is finding them a home where they will be loved, protected, and treated like family. I am not looking to just give them away to the first person who asks. I want to make sure they go somewhere safe and to someone who truly wants them. I would strongly prefer for them to be rehomed together, but I am also open to discussing a temporary foster situation with the right person. My hope is to buy my own home sometime next year, and if someone was willing to care for them until then, being able to bring my boys back home would mean absolutely everything to me but finding a forever home is completely fine if you would rather do that!
