About Taika

Taika is a sweet and spicy bunny. He is small, only about 4 lbs. He is a himalayan and pretty sure mixed with Lion Head. He really is a unique character. He's so sweet to watch. He likes his own space but also loves getting pets and head scratches almost anytime. Taika has a lower energy level for a bunny. He likes to explore around when let out. He likes to binkie up and down the hall. And then go back to his pen and chill. He absolutely loves head scratches and will come up asking for them when he wants them. He doesn't enjoy being picked up but tolerates it really well. He does recognize his owners voices and likes being talked to, even if sometimes he acts like he's not listening. He loves food time, especially greens, some fresh celery heads or lettuce. He doesn't interact with a lot of toys but he loves to explore. Taika would thrive with a home that DOES NOT have another bunny. He is an independent bunny and likes it that way. He does get along with dogs that are very chill around small animals like him. Gets along, meaning, he'll go up and sniff and climb on them a little bit. He does good with kids, but he's not a pick me up and snuggle kind of bunny, but he loves head scratches. Not a home with other animals that have a prey drive. Taika is litter-box trained and knows where his pen is if the door is left open. He is protective over his food. And he does not like other bunnies in his home. He does fine being boarded in a separate pen than other bunnies, but definitely not in the same open space or same pen. He needs to be watched when he's out of the pen, especially if the house is not bunny proofed. As a typical bunny, he likes chewing things. Taika is microchipped, neutered, and has a typical diet of unlimited timothy hay, timothy pellets daily and fresh greens daily.
