About Beatrice

Beatrice's story could have ended very differently. This beautiful 7-year-old Lab mix came to us after being abandoned on the side of a country road with her adult puppies. She was scared, malnourished, and fighting just to survive. She had every reason in the world to stop trusting people. But Beatrice didn't. Today, you would never know the heartbreak she has lived through. Beatrice is quite simply one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. She doesn't meet a stranger and seems to believe everyone she encounters is just a friend she hasn't loved yet. She loves kids. She loves dogs. She loves cats. She loves people. Basically, Beatrice's list of enemies is currently empty. At 7 years old and only about 30 pounds, she is the perfect little companion. She has a calm, gentle nature and wants nothing more than to be included, loved, and close to her people. She would fit beautifully into just about any family looking for an affectionate, easygoing dog with a heart of gold. Beatrice spent part of her life being discarded and forgotten. We want the rest of it to look completely different. We want her spoiled. We want her cherished. We want her sleeping on the softest bed in the house, getting entirely too many treats, going on adventures with her family, and never having to wonder again if she is safe or loved.
