About Bonzai

Meet Bonzai, a hidden gem! ���Z I truly didn't expect to love Bonzai as much as I do, but here we are. Bonzai is a handsome full of life 3 year old super mutt. He's a great dog with other dogs. Even sitting in his kennel, he just waits patiently to come outside, and when he does, he walks perfectly on leash. Bonzai looks up at you with so much love in his sparkly eyes. Bonzai is very mellow and chill. He loves to be near people, and with his favorite people, he will jump up to give hugs and seek out comfort. Bonzai doesn't seem to need much: some sun to bask in, a soft place to cuddle, and maybe some toys and treats and a kiddie pool to lay in and he is all set. ��%90 Bonzai exists neutrally both on and off leash around other dogs He has no reactivity on leash and despite being a little hard to read, has had no negative reactions off leash either. He mostly just choses to coexist with dogs and hang out! A shelter note about Bonzai said 'no small dogs' and he does seem to show elevated excitement if he sees a small dog.
