About Luca

Luca was found as a stray on the streets on CA in late July (One of the most unideal and unnatural environments for a husky to be in). He was brought to a high kill shelter in LA city. Despite his very chill vibes (especially for a husky) and his attentiveness to his handler/appreciation for affection and his compatibility with other dogs he was not adopted. Luca caught an upper respitory infection after being in the shelter for one week and then was kept in medical isolation for the next 3 weeks. I do not know about you, but I would go pretty bonkers in that situation and Luca did as well. He was listed for euthanasia on August 27th. Luckily he was rescued by The Soulful Dog Rescue who then sent him to us to be adopted. We are hoping that Luca will be adopted by someone that wants to give this boy all the outdoor experiences that he has missed the first 2 years of his life. Luca is such a smart dog, he is always watching his human trying to anticipate what they want from him or how they want him to act.
