About Balto-URGENT!!! HELP!

Shelter is critically over-capacity, which means perfectly, perfect dogs are getting euthanized due to lack of space!!! Also, doggies that aren't perfectly perfect, at least health-wise, such as Balto!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot, but Balto is very, very high risk of being euthanized. Balto arrived at the shelter on August 25th, is 7 years old; is listed as an Alaskan Husky, but Rescue Me's only option is Siberian Husky. He has a heart murmur, sadly; had an adopter lined up, but backed out due to this. A volunteer at the shelter reports, that she does not notice any symptoms when takes him out in the shelter yard. He is super smart, has an excellent sit, gives paw, and even other paw, very attentive, loves his treats, friendly, loves to play and run around in the shelter yard. Is on the petite side, relatively speaking, compared to many Huskies. I understand concern regarding adopting a dog with a heart murmur, BUT can foster through a rescue org. If foster, there is no cost to the foster, the rescue bears all cost, ALL. PLEASE email to arrange to meet this very smart and adorable Husky, very good boy, who needs a savior! Please.
