About Pickles

Welcome Pickles to CCPAL Rescue. Pickles is a 2 year old. She is a small Terrier/Black Mouth Cur is our best guess. She is a medium sized dog that weighs 28 pounds. She is full grown and she was found on the streets with her puppies. She is a great momma dog. She is friendly to people she knows and trusts and warms up slowly to new people. She will be a great alert dog for an older couple or someone that is home alone and wants to feel that the dog has your back. She has never shown aggression but she does bark when things are out of the ordinary or someone she doesn't know has arrived. She would be best for at least a moderately active family. I would think someone with a more quiet home that wants a loyal companion to join the group. She has a short coat and not a huge shedder. She is good with other dogs and has been off leash with a number in play groups here at CCPAL. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She is getting spayed soon, all her vaccinations, heartworm negative and will be ready for her forever home in a week or two. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200.
