About Zeus

Zeus is looking for a new home. Zeus is an approximately 2�%BD-year-old neutered Pit Bull mix weighing around 65 lbs. He is house trained and his rabies vaccination is up to date. He is incredibly loving, affectionate, playful, and cuddly with his people. He loves walks, playing with his toys, and being close to his family. I want to be completely transparent about why we are rehoming him. Zeus has had approximately five instances throughout his lifetime where he has snapped at either a child or another dog. Most recently, he snapped at my daughter and scratched her lip and nose. He did not bite her, but the situation could have been much worse. Because I have small children, I no longer feel comfortable taking that risk. I believe Zeus would do best in an experienced, adult-only home where someone can work with him and provide the structure he needs. He has lived with other dogs and is generally fine with them, but any home with another dog would require careful introductions due to his history. He is not good with cats.
