About Major

COHOES, NEW YORK - MAJOR - Purebred male Saint Bernard, Smooth coat, Neutered and UTD (rabies due Feb. 2027) will be 4 years old in the end of October 2026. Major weights 250 lbs. Lives with a 60 lbs terrier and 2 cats. Also, lived with another dog prior to it passing. Major's owner needs to rehome him. Last year the owner's partner died. Prior to that her partner was the main caretaker of this big meaty boy. Also, the current owner is very ill right now and not in good health. She is in and out of the hospital. She can no longer give him the life he deserves. She cannot get him in the car anymore by herself either. He currently lives in a house with a large fenced in area. He loves the car. May take him a bit to first warm up to strangers and is a little shy at first. He has never been around children. I spoke with vet clinic when getting his records and they said he was marked as friendly. Major being so big does have a bit of a problem with his one back leg and takes a gabapentin daily. He can climb in the sofa, bed and in car. It isnt bad. Also, he once at a bought with MMM but was treated for that and sees a great veterinarian who diagnosed him early on. This is a giant boy that may need to lose some weight �٪� HE IS FREE TO A LOVING CARING HOME THAT HAS THE STRENGTH TO BE OWNED BY A 250 LBS TEDDY BEAR. We have his vet records.
