About Bee

Hi everyone, Bee here! I'm a 1-year-old, 9.6lb Yorkie mix girl with a whole lot of personality packed into a tiny tripod body. You might notice I only have three legs - I was rescued with a broken leg that couldn't be saved, and FCCR sponsored my surgery. I healed up beautifully and I get around just fine, thank you very much! I especially love my walks and do great on a leash, tripod-style. I'm good with other dogs and honestly, I LOVE following them around and playing with them - my ideal home would have another dog for me to be besties with! I also do great with my foster home's resident cat, and I'd probably do okay with older, dog-savvy kids who know to be gentle with a girl my size. Toys are my absolute favorite thing in the whole world - I'll throw them, chase them down, and then proudly carry them back to my bed for a cuddle session. (See my video) I sometimes steal foster mom's shoes too and she tells me I'm being silly and puts them away. Speaking of cuddles... I LOVE LOVE LOVE to snuggle! My foster family and my doggie and kitty siblings are my favorite couch companions. I will sleep in my own dog bed but I really love to sleep in the big bed ���� - I don't wiggle around, I just tuck right in for the night. I take my treats nice and gently, and I'm learning great doggie manners from my foster siblings every day - with a little patience and a consistent routine, I'll have it all down in no time!
