About Nova

Meet Nova - a playful, cuddly Rottweiler looking for a loving home in New England ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Nova is 5 years old and 98 pounds of personality! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, house trained, and leash trained. This active girl loves playing fetch, splashing in water, going for car rides, and cuddling with her people. She can be timid at first, but treats and quality time help her warm up quickly. Nova has done well with children through adults, although she has little experience around babies. She enjoys playing with her dog brother and does well with other dogs who respect her space. She may be timid with unfamiliar dogs, so gradual introductions are best. She has never been around cats. She knows 'leave it,' 'sit,' 'down,' 'touch,' 'stay,' and 'come.' Nova has never bitten anyone and does not guard her food. She did snap once when a friend unexpectedly reached over her and startled her, as Nova hadn't realized she was there. I'm happy to discuss the incident with potential adopters. Nova injured her hip while playing four years ago but has had no problems since and no other known medical issues. Her ideal home would provide regular exercise, playtime, affection, and patience while she settles in. Someone comfortable with large dogs who will respect her space would be a great match.
