About Millie

Hi! This is Millie, a Blue tick Coon Hound! She is staying with my roommates and I until we can find her a permanent home. I want to find her the loving family she deserves. Millie is a very sweet, loving, and excitable girl with a big personality and lots of energy. She came from a neglectful situation where she spent most of her time in a crate, so I want her next home to be patient, loving, and committed to giving her the happy life she deserves. Millie is very high-energy outside and absolutely loves to run and explore. She gets extremely excited outside and wants to run, so a home with a secure fenced-in yard or electric fence is best. She loves getting her energy out outdoors, but once she comes inside, she is very good, calm, and well-behaved. She would be a great fit for an active person or family who enjoys spending time outside and can give her plenty of exercise and attention. Millie does well with other dogs and can happily be around them. Because she is a hunting dog, however, she cannot live with cats or other small animals due to her natural prey drive. Millie will come with everything she has, including her harness, crate, and other belongings. Her vet records will also be provided. Her vet records list her as 10 years old, but based on her energy level, appearance, and behavior, we suspect she may actually be closer to around 7 years old. We cannot confirm her exact age, so I want to be completely transparent about what her records state. If anyone is interested or knows anyone who would be interested please message me!
