Meet Georgia �%9D%A4��%8F Life hasnt been fair to Georgia. This poor girl has been through a lot. She was dumped at a Georgia gas station with her puppy, left to fend for herself in the Georgia heat. She recently had puppies and was in very bad shape.�%A0�%A0Some people are just so cruel, this poor baby deserved better. Despite everything she has been through,�%A0�%A0Georgia is incredibly people-oriented and wants nothing more than to be inside, safe, and close to her person. She is incredibly loving and very calm. Give her a comfortable place near you and she is perfectly happy to settle in and relax. She is approximately 2-3 years old and about 46 pounds. She won't get any bigger than that. She is smart, affectionate, independent, and has quite a personality. She is a stafford-plot hound mix and very intelligent . She has a soulful look to her eyes and it appears she understands every word you say. She is house trained and walks easily on a leash. She is not a fan of baths but is getting better with them as time goes on. We believe Georgia would be happiest as the only pet in her home. She becomes very focused on cats though she's not made any aggressive moves we think it would be best if there are�%A0�%A0no cats or other small animals. Her medical care �%9D%A4��%8F Georgia tested positive for heartworm after we rescued her. Treatment has already been started, and we will provide the medication needed to complete her current course. We will also pay for her to be spayed and microchipped. We are not in a hurry to place her. Finding the right home matters far more to us than finding a quick one.
