About Tehya Mae

Tehya means precious in Cherokee and she sure is! She is very sweet and loving, a velcro dog and listens very well. She just wants to please. She'll lay on the bed or couch next to you but is just as happy on the floor nearby. She loves my cats and doesn't chase them but will jump at them when comfortable because she thinks it hilarious. She also loves kids a lot! My grandson is 12 and she adores him. She is great on leash but she also is great off leash. When she goes outside, she doesn't leave the backyard even though I don't have a fence. She isn't one to stay out alone long though, she'd rather be with you. She 8s anxious with new people at first because she wants to protect her family but once she knows you think them safe, she calms down and is a love. Lots of people are afraid due to her size but you can take things right out of her mouth if you need to. She isn't aggressive at all. In fact she thinks it's funny when playing to put her closed mouth on your arm like she's scary or something. She has a great sense of humor, lol. She doesn't bark unless someone she doesn't know comes inside. She doesn't lick but will give a closed mouth kiss if you want. She hasn't had a litter and just started being in heat (although you wouldn't see it because she's very clean) due to being the runt and her young age. I became disabled and can no longer afford to care for her the way she deserves. I can't walk her either. Please give this girl a chance to brighten your world!
