Concerns: New owner needs to have a slow introduction, because of his shyness BIOGRAPHY Meet Nipsey! This sweet boy was rescued from a Baltimore shelter, and we only learned after the fact that he has actually been scheduled to be euthanized the previous day, but the staff begged for more time for him because he is such a darling and good boy. Sadly, this is the reality shelters face across the country. There is only so much kennel space, so heartbreaking decisions have to be made daily. We are just grateful that this lovely, deserving boy got a last-minute reprieve! Nipsey is a very loveable and sweet dog. He loves people and will jump on your lap every chance he can. He loves to be petted all the time. He is great in the car when you have to run errands or go to the vet etc. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He walks great on a leash and would love to go on daily walks, which would benefit him greatly as he could stand to shed a few pounds!. Nipsey loves the backyard and will let you know when he wants or needs to go out. Nipsey is not a barker but will let you know when a stranger comes in the house but calms down once the person starts talking to him. In his foster home there are multiple dogs so he doesn't have big bed privileges, but he would love nothing more than to be granted access to sleep all night next to his human! Nipsey is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is being fostered in Walkersville, MD and is available for an adoption fee of $350.00.
