About Romeo-URGENT-HURT!!!

Baby Romeo needs HELP!!! URGENT need for a foster parent through a rescue org.!!! Can also foster to adopt through it. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity, which it currently is!!! The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Baby Romeo is only rescue due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is even more decreased, besides being injured! The rescue orgs. that are taking foster/foster to adopt applications for him are: German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. if live in Chicagoland area/parts of Indiana (gsrescue1.org) and if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois, which includes Chicago, Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue (www.mlgsdr.com). Sharing the following regarding Romeo from one of the rescue orgs. that is taking applications: 10-12 months old Came in as an injured stray (broken leg). Very sweet, just a little timid at first. No issues with handling and warms up quickly. Did well meeting another dog. Kids & cats unknown. Do not message the email link below, unless having some issues, have to go through the aforementioned rescues, BUT if do send an application, please let me know, so then can give a heads up to the rescue orgs. PLEASE, if can help baby Romeo, fill out applications with the rescues (both if applicable)!!! He is just a baby, a hurt baby. The rescue orgs. cover all costs, including all medical, while fostering/fostering to adopt.
