About Lenny

MEET LENNY! Lenny is an adorable Schnauzer/Terrier mix, a little over 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on her vetting. �%9D%A4��%8F This girl is an amazing dog with a huge personality and SO much love to give. She's still very much in puppy mode, so she's looking for a family who understands that consistency, structure, exercise, and continued training will help her become the incredible dog we already know she is. Lenny loves her people. She's extremely affectionate, bonds quickly, and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. She's playful, active, and LOVES her toys, bones, enrichment activities, and puzzles. She's a great eater and even loves her veggies-carrots are a favorite! She loves being outside and going for walks. Because she gets so excited about the outdoors, her new family will need to be mindful around open doors. Puppy gates near exterior doors would be helpful while she continues learning boundaries. Lenny enjoys playing with some other dogs. Because she becomes very attached to her people, she can sometimes get a little protective of her cuddle time and may not love another dog coming into her space when she's snuggled up with her person. She's young and still learning appropriate boundaries, so continued guidance, consistency, and proper introductions will be important. She has some recall and will often come when her name is called, but she's young, energetic, and sometimes that puppy brain takes over! A secure environment is important. Lenny is also working on house training and leash training and will need a family committed to continuing both. Lenny needs consistency, patience, enrichment, exercise, and someone willing to keep teaching her. In return, you're getting an incredibly loving, affectionate, playful little girl who wants to make her person her whole world. She truly has all the ingredients to be an AMAZING companion.
