About Ollie

Ollie is a handsome, 6 lbs, 6-year-old male Pomeranian is looking for a loving, patient home where he can feel safe, secure, and truly be himself. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, crate trained, and potty trained on puppy pads. He is affectionate, playful, and loves spending time with his people. Once he feels comfortable with you, he has plenty of love and personality to give. Like many Pomeranians, he is an alert and vocal little guy. He can bark and 'scream' when he becomes excited, frightened, overwhelmed, or reactive. He also experiences significant separation anxiety, so he will need an adopter who understands that being left alone is especially difficult for him and who is willing to give him time, patience, and reassurance as he adjusts. He has experienced enough stress that he temporarily lost much of his coat. Thankfully, his coat is slowly growing back, and we're hopeful that with a calm, stable environment, he will continue to recover. He is not looking for just any home - he needs someone who will understand his sensitivities and give him the patience and consistency he deserves. In the right environment, he can be an affectionate, playful, loving companion. If you are looking for a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, he may be the perfect match.
