About Iris

Meet Iris, a Russian Blue lookalike kitten. She is not a purebred Russian Blue. She's a solid gray kitten who is short haired. About Iris. She's been fostered in loving foster homes. Loves to run around and play - she's a kitten after all and that's what they do! Plays with other cats and kittens very well. In fact, she loves other cats - loves to cuddle with them. A proper introduction is important for all cats involved, if you have other cats or kittens. We think she would do well and blossom as an only cat as well. Iris is affectionate and likes to cuddle. The kinder and gentler you are with her, the more she responds. She has to get to know you a bit, its normal... Iris is on the timid side and so we are seeking a quieter home for her. No young children and no dogs. A home with a little bit of patience and cat savvy. Yes, cat savvy cat be learned - in fact - lifelong learning about cats is highly recommended! We want Iris to be loved. She's precious. We want her forever family to be happy and love her. She will love them back with all of her heart. Iris has been spayed, microchipped, had rabies vaccination and a series of three FVRCP vaccinations and is on a monthly flea preventative revolution plus. She tested negative for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. Her DOB is 4.11.26. Iris was born to a pregnant stray cat who was rescued ready to give birth. Iris was born in safety. Our adoption process: First and foremost, we are happy to answer any questions and provide more photos and we are currently working on some video clips of Iris. If interested in possibly adopting Iris, the first step is to complete an adoption interest form. Then we will schedule a phone call or possibly a video call to further discuss Iris and the adoption process. If it seems like a good fit for Iris and for the adoptive home, we schedule a meet and greet. The prospective adopter comes to meet her. If its a good fit at the meeting, Iris goes to the home. All of her veterinary records go with her. We follow up to assist with the transitioning process as needed and to help in any and every way to ensure a successful adoption.
