About Waylon

Meet Waylon! Nobody told Waylon he's a cat - and honestly, we don't have the heart to break it to him. This darling black-and-white boy is completely convinced he's a dog, and he lives every day like it's true. His favorite thing in the whole world? His leash. The moment it comes out, Waylon is at the door, ready to go. He walks beautifully on it - trotting along beside you, tail up, exploring the grass and taking in the world with his big curious eyes. No chasing, no bolting, just a happy little guy out for a stroll with his person. If you've ever wanted a cat you can actually take on walks, Waylon is your once-in-a-lifetime boy. When the walk is over, the dog act continues: he follows you from room to room, greets you at the door, and flops into your lap for cuddles like the world's smallest, softest puppy. He adores other cats, gets along great with dogs (naturally - he thinks he is one), and is gentle and sweet with children. He will be neutered by the rescue before his adoption is finalized.
