Twinky Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin Twinky is currently in a Georgia kill shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, October 3rd. A committed home is required for her to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Twinky Twinky is a 4-month-old Lab mix who is a wonderful little puppy with a surprisingly calm and gentle personality. Twinky and her brother Winky came into the shelter as supposed strays after they had reportedly been staying at someone's home for a few weeks. Twinky is your typical playful, happy puppy, but she is also very low-key for her age. She isn't obnoxious, doesn't bark a lot, and is not overly messy in her kennel. She already knows how to sit and is incredibly gentle when taking treats, which is pretty impressive for a puppy! Twinky is sweet, playful, and enjoys being around other dogs. She is still a puppy and will need all the usual puppy training, supervision, and patience, but she is already showing that she has a great foundation to build on. At only 16 pounds right now, Twinky is a small, compact puppy and should be a fun size for an active family. Her history with cats is unknown, but she is good with kids and other dogs.
