Simba Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Simba is currently in a Georgia kill shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, October 3rd. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Simba Simba is a 2-year-old Terrier mix who is ready for a fresh start. He was surrendered to the shelter after his owner was being deported. Simba had been living on a heavy chain behind the hotel where his owner was staying before he was brought to the shelter. Despite everything he has been through, Simba is a fun little guy with so much love to give. He is a bit unsure in the shelter environment, but he is learning and gaining confidence. What Simba knows for sure is that he absolutely adores people! He loves being petted, getting attention, and soaking up all the love he can get. Simba had not been around other dogs before coming to the shelter, but he has been doing great and is beginning to learn how to play and interact with them. He does well in play group with the other dogs, but Simba does not do well with cats so will need a cat free home! He will likely benefit from a patient home that can continue helping him build confidence and learn all the things he may have missed out on earlier in life. Simba is ready for a fresh start where he can leave his past behind and finally experience what it means to be a loved and spoiled family dog. He is a great size and has an awesome personality!
