About Kane

Meet Kane! Kane is a handsome 10-month-old Pitbull weighing around 40 pounds, and he's ready to find a family of his own! His previous owner surrendered him because they were moving and unfortunately couldn't take Kane along. While it wasn't his fault, Kane is now looking forward to a fresh start with someone who will love him for years to come. This sweet boy is friendly, playful, and affectionate, although he can be a little shy at times while he gets to know you. One of his favorite things to do is go for car rides, so he'd love a family who enjoys taking their four-legged companion along for adventures! Kane does well with other dogs, though a dog-to-dog introduction is required prior to adoption to make sure everyone is comfortable together. He has also tested well with cats. Kane is still a young pup with plenty of energy and is working on his leash manners. He pulls a little, but with patience, consistency, and positive training, he'll continue to learn and grow into the wonderful companion we know he can be.
