Petey wants a person - a ride-or-die, a sidekick, a soul dog who'll let him be exactly where he wants to be: right next to you. This 5-year-old chihuahua was pulled straight off the euthanasia list at Palmdale, and he has spent every day since proving what a gem he is. He's still adjusting to life outside the shelter, but he's already shown himself to be affectionate, easygoing, and endlessly loving. Petey walks nicely on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and just wants a lap to call home. He's working through some stress around crate confinement, so his ideal home is one with patience for that adjustment and plenty of love to help him settle in.
