About Daxton

Meet Daxton! Daxton is a handsome 2-year-old Pitbull who arrived at the shelter as a stray. At around 60 pounds, this big, lovable guy has plenty of personality-and so much potential! Daxton has done well when meeting other dogs, but a proper dog-to-dog interaction is required to make sure everyone is a good match. He also seems to be unfazed by cats, which is a great start! This energetic boy is still working on his manners. He can be quite jumpy, so we recommend a home without small children. Daxton will need a strong, committed owner who is willing to work with him on leash skills, basic manners, and proper training. Underneath all that youthful energy is a wonderful dog just waiting for someone to help him become the best version of himself. With patience, consistency, and guidance, Daxton has so much potential.
