MEET MAX - 10 YEARS OF BEING SOMEONE'S FAMILY. Max is 10 years old, and unlike many of the dogs who arrive at the shelter with an unknown past, Max comes with a whole history. He has spent the last 10 years with his family. Now,Max is looking for a new place to call home. And his family gave us quite a picture of the dog they know and love. Max has lived with adults, teenagers and young children, and his family says he got along with everyone in the household. He has also lived with another dog and did well when properly introduced. He has not lived with cats. They describe Max as fun and a snuggler. He loves being petted-especially his head, sides and belly-and enjoys playing with just about everything, including toys and chew toys. He loves going for rides in the car, too. Perhaps the most touching answer on his entire surrender profile came when his family was asked what they liked best about Max. Their answer was simply: 'He is family.' At 10 years old, Max isn't looking to start over from scratch. He's looking to continue being what he has always been-someone's family. He is 59 pounds, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. Come meet him! ID#61737390
