Pete Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Pete is part of an owner-surrender/hoarding situation in Mississippi where his owner currently has approximately 40 Pomeranian/Chihuahua mixes and can no longer care for them. Pete has spent his entire life in this overcrowded home and has never experienced life outside of that environment. He is scheduled to travel to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, 10/10 and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to make the trip. Meet Pete Pete is a sweet and friendly little guy who is ready to discover how great life can be. He has lived in an overcrowded home with many other dogs and will need some TLC, patience, and grace as he adjusts to all the changes that come with having a home of his own. Pete is friendly and sweet, but he will likely need some time to feel comfortable and learn what it means to be part of a family. He will also need help with potty training, as he likely has primarily used puppy pads and was not taken outside frequently. Crate training and leash walking are unknown, so his new family should be prepared to patiently teach him these skills. Pete is looking for someone who understands that he may need a little extra time to settle in. With patience, consistency, and love, he will finally have the opportunity to experience the happy life he deserves.
