About George

George is a loving, affectionate, easygoing 100-lb Catahoula and professional couch potato. He loves being indoors, relaxing beside his person, and hoping you'll share your food. ���� He is used to cats, chickens, horses, hogs, and deer. He has great recall and can help keep wildlife away, but he is not a trail-riding dog or one who will follow you around an entire property all day. He may even turn around and head home! George has a kibble and chicken allergy and eats mostly rice and meat, so his new owner must be prepared for the extra cost and cooking. He is generally dog-friendly but has been involved in one serious fight, so dog parks and frequent introductions to unfamiliar dogs are not recommended. He never has started a fight, but he won't back down. George is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and comes with beds, kennels, leashes, bowls, and blankets. He needs a loving indoor home with time for affection, maybe a friend or two and a little of outdoor time. Located in Austin, TX. I will bring him to meet you and check that it's a safe fit.
