About Lucy

This beautiful girl has had a really difficult start to life. She was originally rescued from a breeding situation, and unfortunately, she has continued to face challenges through no fault of her own. She currently needs a home after not getting along with a cat, so we want to be completely honest about what she needs in her forever home: she needs to be the only pet. ��%8F��%9D%A4��%8F But when it comes to people, this girl is absolutely incredible. She can be a little nervous at times because of everything she has been through, but once she knows she's safe, she is sweet, affectionate, and completely devoted to her people. Her favorite things include: ���ܕ�%8F Being a professional couch potato ���� Giving kisses �%9D%A4��%8F Staying close to her people ���� Lounging around and enjoying the good life One of our favorite things about her is that she 'smiles' when she gets excited! ���%81 She shows her teeth in the cutest, happiest way, and once you know her, it's impossible not to smile right back. She doesn't particularly enjoy having her feet touched, but she has been such a good sport here at the clinic. She let us put a shirt on her and even tie little pink bows to her ears in hopes that someone would see just how adorable she is and give her a chance. ��Z'��ٴ� And honestly�'�| we have completely fallen in love with her. �%9D%A4��%8F She's also a very smart girl! She has gone through training, is potty trained, and knows: ��%90%BE Sit ��%90%BE Shake ��%90%BE Lay down ��%90%BE Stay She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and currently on a weight-loss journey so she can feel her very best. We know her future family will enjoy cheering her on as she becomes happier and healthier! ��ջ��%90%BE She doesn't need a house full of animals or a life full of adventure. She just wants a person. Someone who will let her curl up beside them on the couch. Someone who understands that she may need a little reassurance sometimes. Someone who will see past her difficult past and love the wonderful dog she is today. We know her history may make some people hesitate. But we've gotten to know the dog behind that history-and she is so much more than the worst thing that's ever happened to her.
