Every garden has that one perfect rose that makes you stop and smile. Around here, that's Rosey. We think this beautiful 2-year-old, 50-pound shortstack is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and she is one of the sweetest companions you could ever hope to meet. Rosey has a way of planting herself right in your heart. Affection is definitely her love language. This adorable house hippo loves snuggling with her people and is always ready to hand out kisses. Rosey enjoys getting out for walks, soaking up the sunshine, and having a little fun, but she likes curling up for quality cuddle time just as much. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or enjoying a stroll through the neighborhood, Rosey is happy to be by your side. She's food motivated, walks nicely on leash, and is eager to make her people proud. Rosey is looking for a kid-free household (teens seem to be just fine) where life is a little more predictable. Like many rescue dogs, Rosey needs some time to find her footing after a big transition. Her ideal adopter will be patient and confident, giving her plenty of love while also providing the structure, boundaries, downtime, and consistency that help her feel secure. Give Rosey the time and space to settle in, and you'll get to watch this wonderful girl blossom. Rosey arrived at the shelter as an unclaimed stray and waited patiently while the world passed her by. After too long in a loud and chaotic environment, what Rosey needs most is something much simpler. A soft bed. A loving family. A peaceful home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and blossom into the happy dog she was always meant to be. Rosey doesn't need a perfect home-she just needs someone to say, 'You're finally home.' If you've been waiting for a best friend who greets each day with a wagging tail, Rosey would love to meet you. Rosey is being fostered in Denver, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/rosey/.
